Istanbul judge who ruled release of suspects in coup arrested

Turkish police detained one of the judges of the Istanbul Court, Metin Ozcelik, who ordered the release of 76 suspects charged with alleged links to the 'parallel state' of US-based Islamic scholar Fethullah Gülen. Another judge, Mustafa Başer, is listed as wanted.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu also fiercely criticized the judges, RIA Novosti reports.
