Negotiations were held between the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Energy Minister of Turkey Taner Yildiz, during which the sides discussed the prospects of cooperation in the energy sector.
According to Trend, Yildiz said that "Turkey strongly supports the constructive international initiatives of the Turkmen leader on energy security as an important factor for sustainable development in the regional and global scale."
