Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia will discuss the prospects of trilateral cooperation in the defense sector.
The first meeting of Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, the chief of General Staff of Turkish Armed Forces, Army General Necdet Ozel, and the head of the General Staff of Georgian Armed Forces, Major-General Vakhtang Kapanadze, will be held in Ankara today.
Issues of cooperation of the countries in the trilateral format, regional stability and security, implementation of joint projects and others will be discussed during the meeting.
It is planned to sign a protocol following the meeting, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan.
