Europe to meet for talks on Iran’s nuclear deal on May 12

The European External Action Service said that EU representatives and Iran will resume talks on Tehran’s nuclear program on May 12 in Vienna. A new round of work of the political directors of the EU and Iran will begin on May 12, the political directors of P5+1 will join the talks on May 15.


"EU negotiator Helga Schmid and her Iranian counterparts Abbas Araghchi and Majid Takht Ravanchi will resume their work on 12 May in Vienna," RIA Novosti cited the communique.


The negotiators will continue their work on the drafting of the main text of a Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, based on the key understandings reached on April 2 in Lausanne. "In the meantime technical experts will continue drafting amendments to the main text," the document specified.
