Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov said that the next CIS summit will be held in Astana (Kazakhstan) in October 2015. He reminded that Kazakhstan was chairing the organization in 2015. Belarus chaired the CIS in 2013 and 2014, Interfax reports.
2015 has become the CIS Year of Veterans of the Great Patriotic War, 2016 will be the Year of Education.
