Training of the 58th subunit of the army of the Southern Military District (SMD) began on Monday in the town of Buinaksk in Dagestan, RIA Novosti reports, referring to a spokesman of the SMD.
According to him the teaching will be led by the commander of the Southern Military District, Lieutenant-General Alexander Galkin. He added that the military will develop contacts with Russian Interior Ministry troops and the administration of the Federal Security Services border control. According to the spokesman, the training will last until October 23rd.
