Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at a governmental session today that Chechnya and Ingushetia were rated second and third in the All-Russian ranking of the most efficient regional governments made to round up 2014, RIA Novosti reports.
The ranking includes the dynamic of the past three years. It has already been sent to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The rating takes into account the rates of employment, lifespan, birth rate, number of new schools and houses, business initiative and infrastructure.
20 leading regions have been highlighted in the ranking of 2014, 15 of them were in the spotlight of 2013. Tatarstan remains at the top of the list, followed by Chechnya, Ingushetia, Voronezh Oblast, Lipetsk Oblast, Saint Petersburg and other regions.
