Militant responsible for Charlie Hebdo attack killed in Yemen

A senior official of Al Qaeda on the Arabian Peninsula, Nasser bin Ali Al Annecy, hass been killed in an airstrike by the US over Yemen.


Al Annecy had claimed responsibility for January's terror attack on the Charlie Hebdo magazine in Paris.


"AQAP chose the target, laid the plan and financed the operation," he said during the 11-minute video, Interfax reports.
