The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has addressed US President Barack Obama and his allies, calling on the leaders of the world powers to forget old insults and think about the future of our planet.
"I am convinced that you all should forget past offenses, rise above minor problems, the leaders of global powers should meet and ask themselves where you are leading this world. Maybe there’ll be some result! But don’t hope sanctions could turn Russia into an obedient semi-colonial country," TASS cited Kadyrov as saying.
The defeat of Nazi Germany "was our common victory, the decisive role in which belongs to Russia," the head of Chechnya wrote on his Instagram page.
"You were not present at the May 9 Victory Parade in Moscow, although you should have paid tribute to the memory of tens of millions of fallen Russian soldiers and officers, shown all terrorist leaders that you are united in the urge to fight for peace and a just world order. Instead, you gave to understand that you are not ready to stand against the threat of a new world war in a united front," Kadyrov said.
