House of regional affinity groups to be opened in Moscow

The Moscow authorities plan to establish the “Moscow House of regional affinity groups,” which will be located in the building of the Mars Cinema, the Acting Chairman of the Committee for Interregional Relations and National Policy of the capital, Mikhail Solomentsev, said on Tuesday, RIA Novosti reports.

"Before that the building will be renovated, but the cinema will remain, in the interests of the residents," noted Solomentsev.

According to him, in the first half of 2011 the city government will work on the corresponding proposals. Solomentsev also noted that the Coordinating Council of the regional affinity groups will start work in the government of Moscow City.
