The King of Saudi Arabia won’t attend the summit for Persian Gulf countries, hosted by US President Barack Obama on May 13, where the issue of Iran's nuclear program will be discussed.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia said that the crown prince will take part at the summit, not the King.
Earlier, it was reported that only the heads of Kuwait and Qatar responded to the invitation to attend the summit, four other states said that the event will be attended by the least senior officials.
