350 observers from 26 countries have registered for the parliamentary elections of November 7. 304 of them come from the CIS and 10 of them are member-states of TurkPA, the chairman of the Central Electoral Committee Mazakhir Panakhov said, Trend reports.
He said that the number of observers allows each polling station to have 2 observers each.
The previous parliamentary elections were held in November 2005. Azerbaijan uses a majority-vote electoral system with 125 electoral districts.
At latest session of the Central Electoral Committee an emblem of political block PNNA-Musavat was approved.
