German president's schedule on visit to Turkey announced

German President Christian Wulff will meet Turkish Minister for Religious Affairs Ali Bardakoglu on his visit to Turkey, Trend reports, citing Cihan.


The German president arrived in Ankara on Monday evening, assisted by high-ranking German officials and businessmen. Wulff is the first German president to have visited Turkey in the last decade.


Wulff plans to discuss bilateral, regional and international issues and exchange views on the stimulation of cooperation and ties between the two countries, Turkish administration reported.


The German president will make a speech at the Turkish parliament and take part in a business forum in Kayseri. Then he will visit Tarsus and Adana. Wulff will participate at the ceremony of the foundation of the Turkish-German University in Istanbul with his Turkish counterpart, Abdullah Gul.
