White House says telephone conversation between Putin and Obama is quite possible

White House spokesman Josh Earnest said that a telephone conversation between the presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama, could happen soon.

"They have periodically spoken on the telephone over the last year. I don't know of any additional conversations that are planned, but that certainly could come up," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.
