Flooding in three Krasnodar Territory regions has led to damage equivalent to approximately 2 billion rubles, RIA Novosti reports, citing the press-service of the local administration and Governor Alexander Tkachov.
Tkachov has visited the flood-stricken Apsheron region.
The heavy rains caused rivers to overflow, damaging 30 villages, according to the latest information. 14 people died. 1,800 houses were damaged in Tuapsin region.
The authorities of Krasnodar Territory have paid the first compensations of 10,000 rubles. A total of 48 million rubles has already been issued in compensation to the territory. The compensation in Tuapsin was issued by social protection structures and delivered by postmen.
The main compensation will be 150,000 rubles for each member of the family affected by the flood.
