Traffic near the Chechen parliament complex in Grozny has been restored after being blocked off this morning after a militant attack, RIA Novosti reports.
The armored vehicles have left the area and the parliament started regular work.
The militants' attack mainly damaged the outer part of the parliament building. Some offices had their doors damaged.
A criminal case was initiated into an attack on the police and state authorities and for illegal arms trafficking.
Three militants attacked the building, one of whom was a suicide bomber. The other two blockaded themselves on the first floor. The two militants killed themselves with explosives during the special operation. 2 police officers and one civilian were killed, 6 police officers and 11 civilians were wounded.
