227 members of the Ukrainian parliament (226 needed) voted to mark the Commemoration Day on May 18, the 71st anniversary of deportation of Crimean Tatars, RIA Novosti reports.
The Ukrainian parliament asked the UN, the European Parliament, PACE and world leaders to condemn violations of the rights and freedoms of Crimean-Tatar people.
