Ukraine's General Prosecutor's Office has released a list of 144 prosecutors of Crimea accused of treason, the press-service of the office reports.
"It has been established that these prosecutors, contrary to the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine, are violating the oath of prosecutor of Ukraine, after the annexation of Crimea occurred in the service of the prosecutor's office in the unlawful Republic of Crimea and follow the instructions and orders of the so-called leaders of the aforementioned prosecutor's office," a statement reads, Tvzvezda. ru reports.
Former employees of the prosecutor's office issued a notice of suspicion. The Criminal Code of Ukraine provides for punishment of imprisonment for a term of 12 to 15 years with confiscation of property.
