The US House of Representatives has approved an amendment to the military budget (269 MPs for, 151 against), according to which the United States will help Ukraine in the fight against militias with provisions and weapons, Associated Press reports.
The money will be allocated for protection from militias. The total amount of military support to Ukraine is estimated at $200 million. The final decision on supplies will be taken at a meeting of the House of Representatives next month, TASS reports.
The total amount of funding for this purpose is $612 million. The document also shows the costs for the base at Guantanamo and Iraq.
