British political scientist denies Armenian media reports that he attended elections in Nagorno-Karabakh

A British political scientist has denied information in the Armenian media about his presence at the elections in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Laurence Broers, a political scientist from the UK, a researcher at the Center for Oriental Studies at the University of London, did not confirm reports that on the 3rd of May he worked as an observer at the so-called "parliamentary elections" in Nagorno-Karabakh, underlining that on that day he was not in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

"I've never been to Nagorno-Karabakh at the time of any elections, and I have never watched the electoral process there,’’ Trend cites him as saying.
