The Egyptian authorities have decided to introduce some restrictions on women who are going to visit Turkey.
Now Egyptians aged from 18 to 40 years be checked for compliance with the security requirements to receive permission to enter Turkey.
Similar restrictions have previously been imposed on men, as some Egyptians go to Turkey to travel through its territory to Syria in order to join local militant groups such as Islamic State.
