Detained in Ukraine ‘‘Russian officers of Main Intelligence Directorate’’ were policemen

‘‘Russian officers of the Main Intelligence Directorate’’ who have been detained in Ukraine have turned out to be ordinary policemen from Luhansk.

According to the first deputy commander of the people's militia, Lieutenant Colonel Sergei Kozlov, Ukrainian forces arrested two policemen who were not Russian intelligence officers.

"During the ensuing fight, two of our policemen – Yevgeni Yerofeyev and Alexander A. Alexandrov – were injured and taken captive by Ukrainian saboteurs,’’ gazeta.ru cites him as saying.
