Speaker of Russia's State Duma, Sergei Naryshkin, published an article today calling to start a new constructive stage in relations with Europe. "Russia is a natural ally in the European inter-parliamentary consultations. We will work together to find a more solid foundation for future cooperation. It would be imprudent not to return to return reliable positions," Naryshkin said.
As an article published in Rossiskaya Gazeta said, if the process of integration results of the negotiations will not bring strong guarantees of equality of EU-Russia relations, then the Russian Federation will not try to convince anyone.
Sergei Naryshkin also wrote that "there is no doubt that all the sanctions and conflicts incite only one purpose, which is an attempt to separate Russia from its traditional geopolitical, economic and trade space by the United States instead."
