Kazakhstan is planning to join the World Trade Organization (WTO) in 2015, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Massimov, told a press conference following a meeting with his Lithuanian counterpart Algirdas Butkevičius.
"Kazakhstan plans to join the WTO this year. We would like to thank the European Union and Lithuania for supporting Kazakhstan's accession to this organization," TASS cited him as saying.
Then Massimov congratulated Lithuania on "its forthcoming accession to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development."
