Stavropol Territory has started mass reconstruction of heating systems with the installation of new boilers using bio-fuel, Yuga.ru reports.
Mikhailovsk has already started reconstructing the first boiler house. A 6-megawatt boiler will work on pellets. This bio-fuel is produced from peat, waste from trees and agriculture. Special hay briquetes will be used in Stavropol Territory.
Mikhailovsk is also planning to construct warehouses for the reception, storage, grinding and processing of bio-fuel. Boiler reconstruction expenses should be 13.49 million rubles.
