The Georgian government will not provide 360,700 lari for refugees and forced migrants in 2011, as it had done in 2010. The program included expenses for bank and postal services and a refugee fund, Georgia Online reports.
The state budget for 2011 also excludes finances for migration processing. 20.219 million lari were spent in 2009, while 9.604 million lari were spent this year.
The repatriation program will also face financial problems, as its budget will drop from 42,800 lari this year to 20,000 next year. The 'Bridge' program is closing .
The state budget will be approved on the last Friday of December by the parliament.
