Iranian president Hassan Rouhani said during a visit to the city of Tabriz that the country will take the necessary steps to safeguard security in the region, if it is needed.
Speaking about the nuclear issue, he said that his administration is determined to continue the nuclear talks with the P5+1 until a final deal is achieved. The Iranian president stressed that a final deal will be achievable if the counter side gives up its excessive demands.
According to him, alongside peaceful nuclear activity, economic growth is also important for the Islamic Republic, Trend reports.
In addition, Rouhani said that, despite the sharp fall in crude oil prices, his administration is determined to maintain the country’s economic growth.
