President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will not able to attend the EU Eastern Partnership summit in Riga, the president’s aide for public and political affairs, Ali Hasanov, said.
Azerbaijani president has a very busy schedule with very little time left till the start of the First European Games and the preparatory work for this important event is in the final stages. Therefore, the head of state won’t be able to take part in the summit, APA cited him as saying.
The Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, the Director of the Foreign Relations Department at the Administration, Novruz Mammadov, and the Foreign Minister, Elmar Mammadyarov, will represent Azerbaijan at the Riga summit.
