Crimea to be included in final declaration of Riga summit

The final document at the Eastern Partnership summit in Riga will mention the Crimean issue, Finland’s Prime Minister Alexander Stubb said.

"We are discussing this issue. It is impossible to avoid the discussion of this topic at the Eastern Partnership summit. At the same time we all need to understand that the Eastern Partnership is not directed against anyone. Of course, the final declaration will include something on the Crimean Peninsula...but we also want to talk about practical issues," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.

Earlier, Vestnik Kavkaza reported that representatives of Belarus and Armenia called against using the term 'illegal annexation of Crimea' in the final document.
