A second round of presidential elections is being held in Poland. Current President of the Republic Bronislaw Komorowski and the candidate of the opposition Law and Justice Party, Andrzej Duda, are running for the presidency after nine other candidates were eliminated after the first round of voting.
62-year-old Komorowski lost in the first round on May 10 by one percent to his main rival – 43-year-old Andrzej Dude.
More than 27 thousand polling stations opened in Poland at 07.00 am local time (08.00 MSK), they will work until 21.00 (22.00 MSK) in all provinces of the country and abroad. Only after the completion of voting will local media be able to publish data of exit polls, the State Electoral Commission reported.
