According to the commander of the coalition forces General John Campbell’s statement, a permanent NATO base is to be created in the capital of Afghanistan.
"Countries will see that there are areas, where they can help Afghanistan and provide this assistance. Instead of single attempt, it will be established a NATO base, from which this assistance will be directed,’’ gazeta.ru cites Campbell.
