Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on Azerbaijan's Republic Day

The Turkish leader said that relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey have reached their highest level. "The deepening of our relations, both on bilateral and international platforms, makes our countries stronger in all areas. I am confident that our next steps based on common goals will raise bilateral relations to a higher level that will benefit our brotherly nations. The frequent mutual visits as an indicator of the special nature of our relations contribute to the development and deepening of relations between our countries at all levels. From this point of view, I am delighted that I will once again visit your fascinating country in June in connection with the first European Games to be held in Baku," Trend cited Erdogan as saying.
