Top security officials from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will meet in Dushanbe to discuss the challenge posed to the international community by the Islamic State terrorist group.
"The meeting will focus on efforts to increase effectiveness of cooperation in countering terrorism and extremism, including the neutralization of potential threats to CIS countries posed by the Islamic State international terrorist organization," RIA Novosti cited the statement of the FSB.
According to the ministry, the participating parties will take stock of the program of cooperation in the struggle against terrorism and extremism.
