United Nations Special Adviser on Cyprus Espen Barth Eide said that President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades and President of Northern Cyprus Mustafa Akinci agreed to open a crossing post in Leka and one in Deryneia as part of the renewal of the negotiation process, RIA Novosti reports.
The first crossing posts opened in 2003. Until recently, the island had had seven crossing posts.
Moreover, the sides decided to unite their power lines.
