Iranian President Hassan Rouhani congratulated Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the country's Republic Day.
"I'm confident that the good ties between the two countries will expand at bilateral, regional and international levels in line with the two nations' mutual interests," Interfax-Azerbaijan cited his message as saying.
Rouhani wished prosperity for the Azerbaijani people and his Azerbaijani counterpart.
