According to the information of October 20, the Krasnodar Territory has planted approximately 1.032 million hectares of winter cultures (70% of the total planned amount), Yuga.ru reports, citing the press-service of the territorial agricultural department.
147,000 hectares of 195,000 of sugar beet (76%) with a yield of 348 dt/ha. Over 5.1 million tons of beet roots were dug, this is by 1.3 million tons more that previous year.
Over 129,000 ha of rice fields (98%) were cleared. The gross harvest is approximately 859, 000 tons, the yield is 66.2 dt/ha.
