Russia and Israel have similar views on global security, Russia’s Defense Ministry reports

According to the Directorate of the Press and Information of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, Moscow and Tel Aviv have similar positions on major international security issues. The announcement was made after talks between a Deputy Russian Defense Ministry, Anatoly Antonov, and the head of the military and security policy of the Israeli Defense Ministry, Amos Gilad. The negotiations were held in Singapore in the context of the Shangri-La Dialogue - International Conference on Security in Asia.

The main topic of conversation was "urgent issues of international security with the focus on the situation in the Middle East."
