The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic today published statistics about the participation of foreign mercenaries in the battles for the Donbass regions. In particular, there are soldiers of the Georgian army, the United States and Poland, as well as, it is assumed, militants of the terrorist organization Islamic State.
"In the village of Verhnetoretskoe a devision (from 60 to 100 people) was uncovered of volunteer personnel of a Georgian battalion. At the checkpoint ‘Breeze’ between Gorlovka and Dzerzhinsky a company of US and Polish troops had been established,’’ the Ministry of Defense Corps deputy commander of DIR, Edward Basurin said.
He also claimed that Polish soldiers are in Dzerzhinsk, Dimitrov, Slavic, Myronivsky, Konstantinovka and Kramatorsk.
