Rebel Houthis, who represent the Ansar Allah movement in Yemen, have seized several US citizens.
"We have seen reports that several US citizens were captured recently in Yemen. We are doing our best in order to free them. Due to confidentiality we do not disclose their personal information. Protection of American citizens abroad is our priority", TASS reports a US State Department statement.
