After a meeting with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made a statement about Israel's commitment to the formation of a Palestinian state.
"I remain committed to the idea that the only way to establish lasting peace is to implement the conception of two states and two peoples: a demilitarized Palestinian state that recognizes the Jewish state of Israel," he said.
