Self-made mayor

A self-made man has a chance of making Moscow the center to unite the country.
Sergei Sobyanin swore an oath to the Moscow administration and assumed the office of Moscow's mayor. The inauguration took place in the White Hall of the Mayoral administration at 13 Tverskaya Street.
Moscow got a new mayor on 21.10.10. This interesting date could mark the beginning of reforms aimed at making Moscow the capital of a multinational Russia. The new mayor knows the way to do it.
21.10.2010 Moscow got a new mayor. This interesting date coud be date of begining of reforms aimed at making Moscow a capital of all multinational Russia. The new mayor does know the method to do it. Sergei Sobyanin was born in the Tumen region 52 years ago.
Sobyanin served as head of the State Tax Inspectorate in Kogalym, Khanty-Mansiisk Autonomous Region from 1990 to 1991 and also served as first deputy head of that administration in the early 1990s.
In January 2005 he was reappointed by then-President Vladimir Putin. In December the same year he was appointed chief of staff of the Presidential Administration, replacing Dmitry Medvedev.
Speaking about migration policy, the mayor said that use of migrant
workers is necessary, but the residents of Moscow should have
priority in getting a job. It seems that he would continue the policy.
