Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, his grandsons and Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan have inspected the reconstructed Yerevan Zoo. The reconstruction, initiated in 2014, has resulted in expansion of the zoo from 7 to 16 of the 34 hectares it occupies, News-Armenia reports.
Energy-efficient lamps were installed, all roads and alleys asphalted and reconstructed, new fountains built, grass on 7000 square meters, new trees and bushes were planted, playgrounds beautified.
