Georgian Deputy Interior Minister Arkhil Talakvadze has denied claims made by Mikheil Saakashvili, an ex-president of Georgian and current governor of the Odessa Oblast, that Georgian authorities had assigned agents to watch him and that one of them was arrested, UNN reports.
The deputy minister opined that Saakashvili had made a bad joke taken seriously by journalists.
