Almost all foreign fighters have been infiltrating Syria through its border with Turkey, US State Department spokesman acknowledged in a special telephone briefing.
"Almost all of them are coming in from Turkey. We know that," TASS cited the employee of the US State Department as saying.
At the same time, Washington is convinced that "we must focus not only on Turkey, but on the countries where the fighters originate from," a US State Department spokesman said, adding that "this is a global problem."
