Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will bring an action against the leader of the opposition Republican People's Party Kemal Kilicdaroglu, the president’s lawyer Ali Ozkaya said, Anadolu agency reports.
The president will urge Kilicdaroglu to pay non-pecuniary damage for his statements, the lawyer added, noting that earlier, Kilicdaroglu claimed gold was used in finishing the new presidential palace in Ankara, Trend reports.
Erdogan expressed his readiness to resign if the opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) will be able to prove that gold was used in finishing the new presidential palace Ak Saray in Ankara.
