Haider al-Abadi: coalition not doing enough to battle Islamic State

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi accused the international coalition fighting Islamic State of not doing enough.

"The air campaign is not enough. Surveillance is very small. Islamic State militants are mobile and move in small groups. It's too little," Reuters cited him as saying.

The Iraqi prime minister also pointed to the growing number of foreign citizens among the militants of the IS. "In the past, Iraqi fighters were estimated at 58% and foreigners at 42%. Today the proportion has reversed with 60% of foreign fighters and 40% of Iraqis," France Press agency reports.
