Iranian Ambassador to Russia Mehdi Sanaei said that Iran is an important country for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and it would benefit from Iran 's full accession.
"Iran could bring its experience and the impact it has on the Middle East, the Islamic world and on the whole region to the organization. The SCO would benefit from Iran 's full accession to the organization," he said in an interview with Kommersant.
