Russia will ban fish transit from Baltic states to Kazakhstan

Sergey Dankvert, the head of Rosselkhoznadzor (Russian agricultural surveillance), said that transit of fish through its territory from the Baltic states to Kazakhstan may be banned. Before that, the problem will be discussed with colleagues from Kazakhstan tomorrow, Interfax reports.


Russia banned fish imports from EU states and Norway on August 7, 2014. The surveillance service banned food from Estonia and Latvia, starting on June 4.
