Afghanistan backs SCO expansion

Afghan Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani said that his country approved admission of Iran, India and Pakistan to the SCO, RIA Novosti reports.

The SCO is comprised of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Afghanistan, India, Iran, Mongolia and Pakistan are the observers in the organization. Belarus, Turkey and Sri Lanka are dialogue partners.
