FIFA president Joseph Blatter said today that the Football Federation was being reformed. The president noted that he had a fruitful meeting with Domenico Scala (head of the FIFA special commission for presidential elections). The reform program will be complex, Blatter added, RIA Novosti reports.
Blatter has been heading FIFA since 1998. He was re-elected for the fifth term on May 29, only to declare resignation on June 2 in light of a corruption scandal.
The organization will summon an unscheduled congress in December 2015 - March 2016.
